HumbleBrag Privacy Policy

You're not an imposter, everyone else is just bragging.

HumbleBrag (together with our subsidiaries and Affiliates, ‘‘we’’, ‘‘our’’ and ‘‘us’’) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the kinds of information we may collect, how we use and share this information, and how you can exercise your rights in relation to such information.

This Privacy Policy only applies to Personal Information that is processed by HumbleBrag in our capacity as a ‘‘business’’ or other similar term under applicable data protection laws.

1. Information we collect

We collect feedback for our ML classifier that you provide directly to us if and only if you choose to provide that feedback by clicking the ‘‘Disagree?’’ button. We will collect a unique, anonymized ID connected to your feedback so we can aggregate labels by anonymized user. The feedback we collect consists of the plaintext of the post that you tell us is mislabelled, as well as your suggested label for how braggy the post actually is. We do not collect any personal information about you or the people on your social feeds. We only collect the plaintext and your suggested label.

2. How HumbleBrag Uses This Information

We use your labelled feedback to retrain our machine learning classifiers to get better at detecting what is a HumbleBrag and what is not.

3. Sharing This Information

We do not share your information or feedback in any way other than retraining our classifiers.

4. Data Retention

HumbleBrag retains your feedback information we receive as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use HumbleBrag or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected (retraining our classifiers).

5. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy in our sole discretion. We will post any Privacy Policy revisions on this web page, and the revised version will be effective immediately when it is posted. If you continue to use HumbleBrag after such changes have been made, the revised Privacy Policy will be applicable to you.
